Use Browse by Theme to select one theme or all the themes pertaining to one goal.

The World Bank aligns its work program and resources to meet Corporate Advocacy Priorities (CAP), Global Public Goods (GPG) and Millennium Development Goals(MDG).   To allocate projects against these priorities and goals, projects are classified by Themes.  Each theme is associated with one or more metathemes, and in turn a goal or priority.

For example, the Early Childhood Education Project in the Dominican Republic is associated with the CAPs of "Education" and "Health," as well as to the MDGs for "Achieving universal primary education," and "Reducing child mortality".

No projects are mapped specifically to Eradication of Extreme Poverty & Hunger because everything the Bank does is considered to contribute towards this goal.

Please note that not all projects have been classified against themes.
