How can I access information on Contract Awards?

Available in: русский, 中文

There are three ways to access information about Contract Awards: from the Project details page, through a simple search and through an advanced search.

1) All contract awards listed for one project:  After selecting one project of interest via the the  Projects database, click on the Project Name to see all the details for this project.   On the right side of the project details page, there will be a link under the heading "Contract Award Information", if there is one or more contract awards available.  Clicking the link will open a list of all contract awards for that project.  Note that not all projects will list contract awards, due to the limited  scope of the Contract Awards database.

2) Simple Search:  This is a quick method to locate one or more contract awards, if you don't know exactly which project is involved.  Results are only displayed by contract description.  The same simple search appears on both the main ‘Projects & Programs’ page  and the  main Projects Database page

  • Select the ‘Contract Awards’ option in the drop-down menu.
  • Enter the search criteria in the top box.   Use a keyword that can be found in one of the following fields: the contract description, contractor/consultant/supplier name, procurement group, procurement type, procurement method, project name, project ID, project country, project sector, major loan or credit number, supplier country.
  • Click on ‘Go’ to execute the search.
  • You will see a search results pagedisplaying a list of contracts matching your search criteria, including information on the contract description, contract amount, contract signing date, name of the associated project, and procurement group.   You can sort the results by clicking on the any column heading on the page.  Click again to reverse the sort sequence.
  • You can also view the search results in Excel by clicking on the ‘Excel’ link at the bottom of the search results page.
  • To view more information pertaining to a particular contract, click on the individual contract description to open  a contract details pagedisplaying information on the contract description, the name of the project for which the contract was awarded (which links to the Projects Database with more information on the project), country where the project is being implemented, project sector, associated loan/credit number, a link to the list of all contracts pertaining to this project, total contract amount, procurement group, procurement method, procurement type, bid opening date, signing date, the contractor name and the country where the contractor/supplier consultant's office can be found.

3) Advanced Search: This is the best method for looking up multiple contract awards, according to specific criteria.  The results can be listed by contract description, or by Contractor/Supplier/Consultant name.

  • Click on the ‘Contract Awards Search’ link under the ‘Projects Database’ section of the left navigation menu.
  • You will see an advanced search pagedisplaying several drop-down menus that will help you define your search criteria.
  • Change the display of search results by selecting one of the radio buttons, either ‘Contracts’ or ‘Contractors/Suppliers/Consultants’.
  • Next, define your search criteria by entering a keyword and/or selecting country(ies), region(s), sector(s), supplier country(ies).
  • If very specific results are needed, select the contract signing date, or identify the procurement group(s), or procurement type(s).
  • The asterisk (*) next to a search field indicates that you can select more than one search criteria inside the drop-down menu by holding the ‘Ctrl’ key.
  • Click on ‘Search’ to execute the search.

If you have selected to view search results by ‘Contracts’, you will see a page displaying a list of contracts matching your search criteria, including information on the contract description, contract amount, contract signing date, name of the associated project, and procurement group.   You can sort the results by clicking on the any column heading on the page.  Click again to reverse the sort sequence.   You can also view this information in Excel by clicking on the ‘Excel’ link at the bottom of the search results page.  To view information pertaining to a particular contract click on the individual contract descvription.
