There are two basic types of lending instruments: Investment Loans, which have a long-term focus (5-10 years) and Adjustment Loans, which have a short-term focus (1-3 years).The database does not include International Finance Corporation projects.

APL - Adaptable Program Loan
FIL - Financial Intermediary Loan
ERL - Emergency Recovery Loan
SIM - Sector Investment and Maintenance Loan
SIL - Specific Investment Loan
LIL - Learning and Innovation Loan
TAL - Technical Assistance Loan
Adjustment Loans:
DRL - Debt and Debt Reduction Service Loan
RIL - Rehabilitation Loan
SAD - Sector Adjustment Loan
SAL - Structural Adjustment Loan.
