The World Bank Group’s "private sector arm," the International Finance Corporation (IFC), fosters sustainable economic growth in developing countries—including in the small states of Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific—by financing private sector investment, mobilizing capital in the international financial markets, and providing advisory services to businesses and governments.
