WASHINGTON, November 3, 2009 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project: Montenegro: Health System Improvement Project [Additional Financing] IBRD Loan: €5.10 million (US$7.25 million) Terms: Maturity = 10 years; Grace Period = 5 years Project ID: P114275 Project Description: The additional funds to the Health System Improvement Project for Montenegro will support the expansion of activities and to a lesser extent cover cost over-runs of activities previously started under the Montenegro Health System Improvement Project (HSIP). These activities will support health reform through the development of institutional capacity and policies in the areas of health finance, pharmaceutical policy, health policy and planning as well as to provide further support for the phased implementation of the primary health care reform.
