Togo – Integrated Disaster and Land Management Project

WASHINGTON, December 20, 2011 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project:

GFDRR Grant: US$7.29 Million

GEF Trust Fund Grant: US$5.46 Million

IDA Grant (LDCF): US$3.7 Million

TerrAfrica Leveraging Fund: $0.50 Million

Project ID: P123922

Project Description: The objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of institutions to manage risk of flooding and land degradation in rural and urban areas. Furthermore, the project will expand sustainable land management in targeted landscapes and areas with vulnerable climate.
