1. The Project Information Document (PID) presents a brief summary of the main elements of the evolving project.  As new information becomes available or as an investment project develops, Bank staff update the PID.  For all investment projects, the PID is updated before the Bank's formal project appraisal.  This updated PID is revised after appraisal only if major changes are made to a project after appraisal.
2. The PID may consist of text taken directly from other project documents, but it must not include confidential or sensitive material that could (a) jeopardize relations between the government and the Bank, or (b) adversely affect the integrity of the Bank's decision-making process.  Initial PID  3. Summary Data.  The PID provides the following summary project details: Country name
