| Firms Eligible for Short-listing in IT Shopping, by Country This web site supports the selection of bidders for short-lists when using the International and National Shopping methods. Users of this site may put together a short list of firms by clicking their country, obtaining the current list of manufacturers, and then selecting at least the minimum number of firms indicated for the country (but must select from at least three manufacturers). The facility applies only to widely used off-the-shelf office technology, as is most frequently encountered in World Bank financed shopping. At this stage, this web site operates as a pilot for the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) Region of the World Bank. Listings are regularly reviewed and updated, and their number and the countries they cover are expected to grow and consolidate over time.
