DjiboutiUrban Development (R) Urban Poverty Reduction Program (H35-DJ): The objective is to increase access to and use of local infrastructure and basic urban services, community development and micro-finance by the targeted poor population of Djibouti-Ville to improve the accessibility and functionality, livability and social dimensions of the popular commercial area of the Place Harbi, which is located in central Djibouti-Ville. The project would focus on the reorganization of the market’s activities, the construction of new market places, and the improvement of access roads. For the livability and social dimensions, the proposed project would tackle congestion and pollution, and improve hygiene.
