| What’s the difference between the World Bank e-commerce site and the InfoShop? |
| The InfoShop , a unit within the World Bank publications department offers World Bank titles, project documents, as well as non-World Bank titles on development topics. It is also a public forum for the exchange of knowledge, information, and ideas.

| Documents can be searched and printed for free at http://www-wds.worldbank.org/. The InfoShop carries a select number of display copies. Country Public Information Centers (PICs) also carry regionally relevant documents. Click here for a listing of country PICs.

| Documents may be downloaded and printed for free from your computer. A printout (not bound) may be purchased from the InfoShop for the cost of $20.00 U.S. dollars (plus any shipping). Email request to pic@worldbank.org, or order at the InfoShop in DC. |

| Yes, events are free and open to the public. |

| Do I have to register or bring I.D. for an event? |
| Prior registration for events is preferred. For some events, registration is mandatory and will be indicated as such on event announcements.You may be requested to show an ID at any event. |
| Where do I go to attend an event? |
| Most events are held in the World Bank J building, which can be accessed easily through the InfoShop. Check the events calendar for room location. Click here for locations and a map of all event venues. |

| Are special discounts offered on purchases? |
| Yes, the InfoShop in Washington DC offers special discounts on World Bank titles, cd-roms, and printed operational documents. This discount is only available for purchases made through the InfoShop in Washington DC (including in-store purchases, phone orders, email orders, faxed orders, using the printable order form).
Online purchases made via the InfoShop e-bookstore, or through the World Bank Publications department e-commerce site do not qualify for this discount. |

| Certain groups may qualify for a discount. Discounts ONLY apply to World Bank books, cd-roms, and purchased documents. I.D. is required for discount.

| What methods of payment are accepted? |
| All major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Diner's Club - are accepted. Shipping orders must include type of card, name as it appears exactly on the card, card number, expiration date, and billing and mailing address. Checks and money orders must be made payable to the “World Bank InfoShop” in US dollars drawn on a US bank. Please reference the items you are ordering. |
