SPOTLIGHT: AID Forum 2012  
   InfoShop is pleased to once again exhibit at the Aid & International Development Forum. This free, global event is dedicated to the effective delivery of humanitarian aid and development solutions. Visit us at stand N11, where we will be featuring World Bank and other publications.
    This event helps decision makers from the UN, aid agencies, NGOs and governments improve and facilitate information sharing and cross-sector operations through interactive workshops, seminars and informal networking, with opportunities to see the latest solutions in action.

Greeting Cards that Help D.C. Youth

InfoShop has teamed up with Life Pieces to Master-pieces, a local non-profit that helps African-American males turn challenges into possibilities. Cards featuring original artwork by LPTM apprentices can be purchased for $3 each, or in sets of 8 for $19.95.

The World Bank's Policy on Access to Information has established a groundbreaking change in how the World Bank makes information available. The public can get more information than ever before — information about projects under preparation, projects under implementation, analytic and advisory activities, and Board proceedings. The World Bank releases new documents on a daily basis. These documents can be downloaded freely from the Documents and Reports database. For assistance, contact the Public Information Service located near you.

InfoShop is the public information center at World Bank Group Headquarters, a forum for debate on international development and a retail bookstore.

Our events program has hosted many internationally recognized speakers, including Madeleine Albright, Muhammad Yunus, Jeffrey Sachs, Amartya Sen, Joseph Stiglitz, Thomas Friedman, and Carly Fiorina. InfoShop carries over 15,000 titles published by the World Bank, international organizations, and other publishers, along with a wide selection of gift items.
