The Civil Society Team partnered with the Bank Information Center to hold a hands-on training session on several of the Bank’s Open Development Programs. Some 20 CSO representatives from the Washington area participated in the two-hour session held on March 7. The session featured presentations on the following data platforms and tools: Projects and Operations, Open Data, Mapping for Results, and Open Finances.
With an individual computer monitor and Internet access provided for each participant, the training session allowed for individualized exercises and interactive exchanges. Given the positive participant feedback, an extended training session is being planned to be held for CSOs during the upcoming Spring Meetings in mid-April.
