This forum aims to expose international partners to the priority environmental investment needs of the Caspian region.

It is being organized within the Caspian Environment Program which is a partnership between the five littoral states, Azerbaijan, Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, and their international partners, including the EU, UNDP, UNEP, and the World Bank.

The Forum aims to promote the development and management of the environment in the Caspian Sea region in such a manner that the people of the area benefit through better health, a cleaner environment, and growing economic opportunities.
The Forum is co-sponsored by Germany, and supported by other partners such as UNDP and the European Commission, and by the Project Preparation Committee..more |
