CEA Toolkit This toolkit is intended to support the preparation and development of Country Environmental Analysis (CEA) pilots, a country-level environmental analytic tool that aims to integrate environmental issues into Country Assistance Strategies, Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers, Development Policy Lending operations, and other development programs. The toolkit aims to provide practical guidance to CEA task teams and provides three kinds of information. (i) It is a repository of information including completed CEA reports (when available), pertaining to regional CEA pilots. (ii) It provides information on stocktaking work and guidance material prepared with respect to CEA methodology development. (iii) The toolkit also aims to serve as a register of lessons learnt from ongoing CEA pilots. The overall aim of the toolkit is to support learning on regional experiences with CEAs, within the Bank and between development partners, and improve the quality and operational relevance of CEAs. Management The CEA Toolkit is managed by staff at the Institutions and Governance Team, Environment Department, World Bank. Regional CEA task teams are requested to send information relating to ongoing CEA pilots to Poonam Pillai (ppillai@worldbank.org) or Alexandra Sears (asears@worldbank.org), to keep the information available in this space current and up-to-date. Funding The Environment Department is grateful to the Norwegian Trust Fund for Environmentally and Socially Sustainable Development for ongoing support for the preparation of the CEA toolkit. |
