The Carbon Asset Registry System (CARS) is a system platform through which the Carbon Finance Unit will be managing (recording, converting, allocating and distributing) Emission Reduction (ER) assets purchased through all the carbon funds. The system is now live and in operation. We have launched CARS to World Bank staff and Carbon Funds' participants in June 2008.
