The World Bank's Concept and Issues Paper: "Towards a Strategic Framework on Climate Change and Development for The World Bank Group"and its operationalization in the draft strategy "Making Development Climate Resilient: A World Bank Strategy for Sub-Saharan Africa" together with the African Development Bank's "Climate Change Strategy for Africa: African Development Bank" was presented at a public consultation in Dakar, Senegal on Wednesday June 4, 2008 (for more information, please click on the box to the right, "Climate Change Strategy for Africa").
