The World Bank’s portfolio of projects covers all focal areas and all Bank regions. The figure below provides a glimpse of the distribution of full-size GEF projects with the Bank over the last 19 years between focal areas. Climate change and biodiversity dominate the World Bank’s GEF portfolio with 40% and 33% of the total GEF grants of full-size projects.
