Project Information

The World Bank developed Umbrella Grant Agreements as a method of speeding up the legal and administrative formalities of project processing while maintaining fiduciary responsibility. The umbrella agreements, made between local financial intermediaries (or the recipient country's national Ozone Unit) and the Bank, establish the framework for funds transfer over a minimum two to three-year period. These agreements are easily extendable and can in fact cover the entire phaseout period if implementation modalities do not change significantly.

Under this section, you will find information detailing how the project cycle works at the Bank.
