To meet the needs of our clients, ARD produces several different types of publications:
Economic and Sector Work (ESW) feature original analysis of agriculture and rural development issues that seek to create discussion within the broad development community.
ARD Discussion Papers are more informal papers that introduce new topics being investigated by ARD staff and consultants.
ARD Notes are 4-page pieces that summarize an issue for a largely non-specialist audience.
The Agriculture and Rural Development Series are officially published by the World Bank. These are manuscripts (1-3 per year) that have a broader audience and are therefore marketed through the World Bank's Office of the Publisher. They are available through the InfoShop, the Bank's e-commerce site, and through World Development Sources.
