The Rural, Forests, and Water Resources Strategies guide and inform ARD's contribution and support for Poverty Reduction and Country Assistance Strategies.
Country-owned Poverty Reduction Strategies (PRSP) provide the basis for all World Bank (IDA) and IMF concessional lending as well as debt relief under the Highly Indebted Poor Countries Initiative (HIPC).
The Bank develops Country Assistance Strategies (CAS) for each of its client countries. The CAS sets the level and composition of financial and technical assistance that the Bank seeks to provide the country.
