Knowledge sharing, best practices, and global coordination are key elements in the effort to prevent and control avian and human pandemic influenzas. To support learning and knowledge sharing for improved preparedness and control planning, the World Bank offers a variety of seminars and meetings in which institutions, governments, technical agencies, donors, NGOs, and other stakeholders around the world can regularly discuss topics that are of high priority when dealing with avian and human influenza preparedness.
