Leonardo Mazzei

Leonardo Mazzei is a Communications Officer in the Development Communications Division of the World Bank, who provides technical assistance in the design and implementation of communication programs in environmental and rural development projects as well as water supply and sanitation.  He advises clients in international communications, public relations, communication research, qualitative and quantitative, as well as sampling and measurement techniques.  He currently works on development projects in Cameroon, Central African Republic, Nicaragua and Mauritius.  Before joining the Bank Mr. Mazzei has worked as Director of Communications for a private firm in Italy and as Marketing Director for an import company which worked extensively in South East Asia.  In 2001 he taught Communication at the College of Communication of the Boston University. Leonardo Mazzei holds a master's degree in Mass Communication and Communication Research from the Boston University, a Laurea degree in International Political Sciences from the University of Florence and has been a Socrates fellow researcher for the European Union at the University of London. A native of Italy, he speaks Italian, French, English, and Spanish.
