Governance Reform under Real World Conditions

Washington, DC, May 30 - 31, 2007

CommGAP organized a workshop at the World Bank, inviting primarily academic researchers, to discuss the “real world” conditions under which governance reforms must succeed. The group tackled questions such as how to use political analysis to guide communication strategies in governance reform efforts; how to secure political will for governance reforms; how to build broad, pro-change coalitions and how to instigate citizen demand for good governance and accountability.
