EdStats is the World Bank's comprehensive database of education statistics. Users may search for data by country, region, income level or specific education-related indicators. The Global Country Data section offers a data query that includes indicators for number of internet users and number of personal computers per country.

World Bank Knowledge Assessment Methodology (KAM)
The KAM consists of a set of 81 structural and qualitative variables relating to the development of a knowledge economy. The database includes information on 132 countries, including most of the developed OECD economies and over 90 developing countries. Useful indicators include internet access in schools, ICT expenditures as a percentage of GDP, and overall rates of technology use.
