WASHINGTON, June 5, 2008- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:
IDA Credit: US$10Million
TERMS: Maturity = 20 Years; Grace Period = 10 Years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project would support the Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) to expand activities that scale up the impact and development effectiveness of the Education Sector Development Project, with emphasis on the improvement of educational opportunities of children living in poor regions of the country.
