Learning outcomes: Selected indicators available through EdStats ( Data Query) (following indicators collected through PISA, TIMSS, and PIRLS)
Mean PISA student performance scores, together with the percentage of students at the highest and lowest proficiency levels for reading, science, and mathematics literacy, are available for all countries participating in PISA for 2000, 2003, and 2006.
Mean TMSS performance scores for fourth- and eighth-grade students are also available for 1995, 1999, and 2003, as well as the percentage of students who met the low and advanced 2003 TIMSS international benchmarks in mathematics and science.
In addition, PIRLS reading achievement scores for fourth-grade students can be accessed for 2001 and 2006, plus the percentage of students who met the low and advanced 2006 PIRLS international benchmarks in reading achievement.
