Household surveys hold rich data on geographic, socio-economic, and gender disparities within countries – data that is not available through national-level education indicators. The World Bank’s research department and education statistics team have developed ADePT Education (ADePT Edu) a free tool that allows users to use household survey data to create customized tables and charts on school participation, progression, attainment, education expenditures, and labor market outcomes. ADePT Edu was developed to automate and standardize the production of analytical reports; it dramatically reduces the time required for the production of analytical reports, minimizes human errors, and allows easy introduction of new techniques and methods to a wide audience of policy practitioners.

This session provided participants with hands-on training to learn how to use ADePT Edu.
