2012 Meeting of the International Working Group on Education (IWGE)

The World Bank will be hosting the meeting of the International Working Group on Education (IWGE) at World Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C. from 13-14 June 2012.

The IWGE meeting offers its participants, including aid agencies and foundations, an opportunity to exchange ideas and information about the issues currently facing education. The overarching theme of IWGE 2012 is learning and learning outcomes, and the discussions themselves will delve into the many facets of this theme - including strategies for enhancing learning at the system and institutional levels; indicators and monitoring of learning outcomes; and investment priorities to enhance learning for all.
