Benefit Incidence of Public Spending on Education

This module offers data on benefit incidence of public spending on education for selected countries. Inter-country comparison should be treated with caution, given differences in the way the underlying data was collected and processed and in the structure of the education systems in these countries.

The data is provided by Lionel Demery, World Bank lead specialist in the Africa Poverty Reduction and Social Development unit (AFTI1). For the information about the strengths and limitations of the methodology, please read Demery’s paper
