Private Education Expenditure

This module presents information on household expenditures on education. Private expenditures are presented as percentage of both GDP and total education expenditures. The information is further disaggregated by education levels: primary and secondary, and tertiary. The sources include: sector studies, poverty assessments, household expenditure survey reports, Public Expenditure Reviews, Country Economic Memoranda, and other sources, including OECD's Education at a Glance. The module presents an attempt to generate and maintain a database on private expenditures on education, to supplement our knowledge of public spending on education.
