ADePT Education is a new module for automated economic analysis developed in DECRG in cooperation with EdStats. Its purpose is to derive common educational indicators from micro-level survey data and present them in a print-ready form for researchers to facilitate further analyses.
The program contains built-in settings for DHS surveys, but also accepts other types of surveys, and determines automatically  what tables can be built from the available data. The program uses Stata (.dta) or SPSS (.sav) datasets as source files, and allows users to specify which variables hold particular information that the program will use for analysis. Internally ADePT uses Stata for computing all of the indicators regardless of the type of the input file. Users do not have to have SPSS installed if they want to work with SPSS datasets in ADePT.
