Indicators - Metadata

There are two methods to view indicator definitions and sources in the EdStats Query:

VIEW METADATA: After selecting a country/countries, the Series selection window appears. To view indicator definitions/sources through this window, click on an indicator name to highlight it and then click the Notes button on the top right. A new window will appear with the selected indicator’s metadata.

EXPORT METADATA: Conduct a query for one or multiple indicators. In the Format Report tab of the EdStats Query, click on the Export button. A new window appears with a Metadata Download icon. Click on this icon to download metadata for all selected indicators to an Excel file.
