Corporate Bond Markets Development

Corporate bond markets development aims to strengthen local currency non-government bond markets to improve financing for high impact sectors, such as infrastructure, housing, and MSME and provide investment products for institutional investors, such as pension funds.

Government Bond Markets Development

Government bond markets development aims to improve fiscal and monetary management, enhance access of domestic investors to savings products and provide a foundation for building real sector fixed income products in critical areas such as infrastructure.

Equity Markets Development

Equity markets development facilitates privatization, strengthens firms’ balance sheets, enhance market discipline for SOEs, and provide financing for infrastructure and SMEs.

  • Corporate Governance


    Corporate governance reforms aim to strengthen corporate governance (CG) of listed companies, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and financial institutions to improve their operations, increase their ability to attract capital, and enable them to provide greater contributions to job growth and economic development. They contribute to market stability by ensuring greater transparency, accountability, fairness, and responsibility.

  • Investment Funds

    The Investment Fund Group is a joint group between the NBFI and Capital Markets and Corporate Governance Service Lines. The program aims to support the development of mutual funds, private equity funds, infrastructure funds and sovereign wealth funds.
