Break-out Group Descriptions

Break-out groups allowed for targeted discussions on particular topics. The workshop was broken up into four concurrent group discussions. Each group discussed how gender-based violence is impacted by and impacts on different aspects of development, and identifying types of interventions we can use to prevent or mitigate gender-based violence. Participants could choose between:

i)    Social Protection, Micro-Finance and Gender-Based Violence;

ii)   Education, Health and Gender-Based Violence;

iii)  Gender-Based Violence in Conflict-Affected Environments; and

iv)  Justice for Victims? Legal Aspects of Gender-Based Violence
