Workshop: Analytical and Operational Insights on Women's Entrepreneurship in Africa

ethiopia workshop width 320The workshop, held May 20-22, 2008, brought together women entrepreneurs from Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda, World Bank and IFC staff, government officials and experts from other organizations to share analytical works and best practices on private sector and entrepreneurship development.


Organized as a capacity building effort under the World Bank's 

Gender Action Plan, the workshop resulted in a virtual network of women entrepreneurs of the five countries, which meet bi-monthly.
