The World Bank will be hosting an Open Forum on October 7 and 8. The forum is a virtual event that seeks to open up the Annual Meetings to a global public audience and spark broad discussion and interaction on critical development issues. This virtual event will connect global audiences through a live video streaming segment, live micro-blogging, 24-hour global text-based chat forums, and other virtual social media tools.  The Open Forum will focus on three key areas:  ·         Open Development Solutions ·         Jumpstarting Jobs ·         Development Now: A Changing Landscape  For more information, click here: http://www.worldbank.org/openforum. |
