The International Health Partnership & Related Initiatives (IHP+) The International Health Partnership was launched on September 5, 2007 and calls for international agencies, bilateral donors, civil society, private sector, and partner countries to accelerate action to scale up coverage and use of health services, and deliver improved outcomes against the health-related MDGs and universal access commitments. Following the launch of other global health initiatives later in 2007, a common coordination process and workplan was created, IHP+. Together with the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Bank is coordinating the IHP+ which also includes partner countries, H8 agencies, bilateral donors, civil society, and private sector partners. |
