This course will focus on Human Resource Management (HRM) issues relevant to the health sector in India and place special focus on HRM challenges in rural areas. It will include sessions on financing, supervision and monitoring, management assessment and motivation. Issues such as institutional changes, strategic planning, priority setting and conflict resolution will also be taught.
The course has been customized to the Indian context and will be delivered by Indian and international faculty with the support of the Harvard School of Public Health.
Pariticipants
Target audience is state level directors, assistant directors and chief medical officers from the various health departments of 8 Indian states.
