Explanation of search results: The list is generated by searching the World Bank project database for those projects classified under the “theme” HIV/AIDS. All Bank projects are classified by one to five themes , to capture project goals and objectives. The list excludes an early AIDS project in Zaire (1988-94) and projects with AIDS components in Uganda (1990-95), Rwanda (1991-02) and Bulgaria (1996-01), which together provided a total of US$14.3 million.
