This document describes the actions the Bank will take over the coming three years to work with our client countries and other partners, more effectively to prevent new infections and treat and care for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The scope of the Program of Action is Bank-wide and includes lending, analysis, technical assistance and policy dialogue, at country, regional and global levels. It complements the Bank's regional HIV/AIDS strategies. It is aligned with recent global efforts, including a commitment to the "Three Ones" principles, and the work of the Global Task Team on Improving AIDS Collaboration Among Multilateral Institutions and International Donors (GTT).
