Key Steps in Preparing a National Strategic Plan

The Road Map is an ASAP tool to help governments that wish to improve their National HIV/AIDS Strategies and make them more results-oriented.   The chart below shows a broad overview of the process.  Its starts with identification of the key results that the National Strategy aims to achieve, and ends with an analysis of the results the strategy actually has achieved.  This results cycle is summarized in some key steps.  Each step includes a reference to a specific section in the attached table that provides more details on what may be required, depending on the situation of each country.
