| How AIDS affects the other MDGs The Global Monitoring Report -released April 8th- reviews progress towards the MDGs. Many goals are inter-related. A short paper published in 2006 synthesized recent evidence on interactions between AIDS and other MDGs, including the "forgotten" hunger and materal health goals. AIDS undermines progress on poverty, education, child death rates, maternal health, and malaria and TB. |
