The World Bank and WHO Commission on Macroeconomics and Health

The Bank is participating in the work of Working Group 3 of the WHO Commission on Macroeconomics and Health. (For more on CMH visit their website). Working Group 3 is assessing the impact of alternative (domestic) resource mobilization mechanisms on financial protection and health. Particular emphasis is paid to financing mechanisms for the non-formal sector and thus to community-based health financing schemes.

Social Re-Insurance

Social Re-Insurance Book by ILO. In collaboration with the Bank, ILO is coordinating a re-insurance project and authoring a book on reinsurance for micro-insurance schemes.
