The HNP anchor produces 4 types of publications: one for an internal audience and 5 for external audiences. From this page you can link to guidelines on producing each type of publication, as well as link to lists of current titles in each series. The series include:  HNP Formal Series - Polished, ISBN-catalogued material on the Bank's work in the sector, expanding knowledge of HNP policy and strategic issues. These are formal publications that have a broader audience and are therefore marketed through the World Bank's Office of the Publisher (EXTOP). They are available through the InfoShop, the Bank's e-commerce site, and through World Development Sources.  HNP Discussion Papers - A vehicle for publishing preliminary and unpolished think pieces of varying length on HNP topics to encourage discussion and debate and to rapidly share new knowledge with staff and Bank clients with minimal wait time.  Light peer review is required. (for more information, please refer to the HNP Discussion Paper Guidelines)    HNP Economic and Sector Work (ESW) –  Longer, formal reports featuring original analysis on cutting edge issues for the sector requiring rigorous peer review. (click here for more information on HNP ESWs)  HNPFLASH –  Quarterly external e-newsletter disseminating WB knowledge and learning products, as well as partner news of relevance. To submit your work for inclusion in the HNPFLASH newsletter, please send an email to hnpflash@worldbank.org.  HNPWeekly – Internal only family weekly e-newsletter sharing cross-regional knowledge and learning.  It is meant to let you know who we are and what we're doing. Every issue includes the latest on trainings, courses, publications, staff appointments, and major events. If there's something you would like to highlight in our weekly newsletter, please send an email to "hnpweekly".  For more information on HNP publications, please contact Martin Lutalo (mlutalo@worldbank.org) |
