Following the New Delhi Roadmap, the World Bank's South Asia teams are working in close coordination with other multilateral agencies, governments and the donor community to protect poultry farmers' livelihood and maintain national public health. These efforts in the field of pandemic preparedness and animal disease control represent an important contribution of South Asia to the international community's global public goods agenda.
