April 22nd, 2008 - The World Bank, in collaboration with the Government, organizes a workshop on egovernment under the theme of:
"Planning and implementation of egovernment services: best technical and organizational practices of interoperability and applications for citizens and enterprises integration's security". Objective The workshop’s target audience is managers in charge of projects management, monitoring and evaluation. The objective is provide them with information on the concept and tools to elaborate and implement various egovernment applications. Context As part of eMaroc and Idarati, several ministries and agencies have already started planning and developing citizens, enterprises as well as government online services. Learning from international best practices to launch planning and developing processes is essential, particularly for the department and agencies that provide various services to the same clients. Those best practices, when integrated to the current egovernment planning process, would ensure a better service quality, applications sustainability, less investment costs, and a harmonious cooperation between departments in charge of online services groundwork. Therefore, the World Bank is providing a technical assistance through specific inputs from international experts, which would enhance the dialogue on this issue of interoperability', following the Government request during the egovernement mission for the PARAP II. |
