The Legal Associates Program was launched in 2004 and is designed to introduce talented young legal professionals from all over the world to the World Bank. The Legal Associates who are invited to participate in the program will initially be with the Legal Vice Presidency for a one-year term, with the possibility of extending their stay for a second year, based on their individual performance and the business needs of the Legal Vice Presidency. Those who perform exceptionally well and successfully compete in the normal selection procedures, may have the opportunity to remain as staff on a long-term basis. Accordingly, the program hopes to contribute to the gradual renewal of the legal talent of the Vice Presidency. More  Legal Associates, Class of 2007

We are now in the final stages of the selection process and have invited applicants for final interviews. Please note that if you have not heard from us at this time, your candidacy has not been withheld. Application dates for the 2009 program will be announced in due course.
