Legal Associates Program

The Legal Vice Presidency of the World Bank (IBRD) has decided to take another look at the Legal Associates Program as it exists today.  Since its inception in 2002, the Program has grown rapidly and has successfully contributed to the revitalization and diversification of the legal department.  Now is the time, however, to assess which changes and improvements can be made to the program in order to maintain and increase its relevance for the World Bank in general and the Legal Vice Presidency for the next decade and beyond. 

During this assessment period the World Bank will not participate in the annual International Student Interview Program organized by the Columbia University School of Law and the NYU School of Law scheduled for January 2010, nor will it open its website for the submission of electronic applications. 
We expect to be able to announce the start of the renewed Legal Associates Program in the course of March 2010 on this website.  Thank you for your continued interest in the program and we hope you will check back next year in the early spring.
