Welcome to the General Conditions electronic library of the Legal Vice Presidency.

The General Conditions are incorporated by reference in all loan, credit, guarantee and IDA grant and financing agreements. Specific provisions of the General Conditions are also incorporated in other legal agreements.

This electronic library contains the full text of all current and previous General Conditions.

For the convenience of users who do not read English, selected General Conditions are available in French, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese. Users are reminded that these are unofficial translations of the English version. Only the English version is binding as incorporated in the relevant legal agreement.
