Translating CEDAW into Law: CEDAW Legislative Compliance in Nine Pacific Island Countries (UNDP)

The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), known as the international bill of rights for women, remains the most comprehensive international legal instrument addressing discrimination against women in a wide range of areas. This 2007 publication by UNDP provides detailed, concrete and specific indicators of what is required for legislative compliance with CEDAW. It was initially developed for Pacific Island Countries, but may be useful for other countries and regions as well. Read More
